Niya is a member of the newly funded Cottrell Scholars Collaborative Research, in collaboration with Ardo Group at UC-Irvine, Boettcher Group at U Oregon, Markland Group at Stanford, Minus Group at Prairie View A&M University, Surendranath Group at MIT, and Wang Group at CSU-Los Angeles. The goal of this collaborative is to expand opportunities for undergraduate students to participate in prolonged research experiences early in their studies.

We had a great opportunity to meet many children and teenagers from local families who are passionate about science! We were very happy to serve our role of explaining how energy related research work is carried in a lab. We also made many new friends!
